In-Country Market Research Analyst

Euromonitor International seeks In-Country Market Research Analysts to work on a 4-6 week full-time project from a home-office, conducting research about agricultural commodities markets in the Ecuador. Research is schdueled to last through approximately December 18th. Core responsibilities include primary and secondary research; data manipulation, validation and analysis; and report writing and editing in English.

Our projects

Our research addresses questions similar to the following in order to deliver insightful business intelligence to clients:
• What is the size of the overall market for condoms in Ecuador?
• What are the leading brands?
• What are the leading distribution channels (retail/non-retail –government/social agency)?
• What are the key drivers, trends and future outlook in the market?
• What condoms are offered? How are they priced, sold and marketed?

A successful candidate will be located in Ecuador and must be analytical and detail-oriented. A strong background in economics, marketing, and/or market research is desirable.

Skill requirements:
• Experience conducting trade interviews with industry operators and experts.
• Familiarity with agricultural commodities markets in Ecuador
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• High level of numeracy
•Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Windows and Internet searches
• Research track record
• Project management and editorial skills an advantage
